    @dagamer34: Marketshare is marketshare. If you discount your products now while you can afford it, you run the possibility of locking people into your system. If you can expand the marketbase and lock more in, you get more profits in the future. #appleblackfriday

    If those prices are true, I might finally buy myself a Mac or iPod Touch. Of course, most my work on the computer would be in W7, but it's time to get rid of my POS HP.

    @Gordonium: I see you fell for the dv6000 trap too. I swear mine actually crashes networks, not to mention the almost toasted mainboard when applying the BIOS flash that HP mandated I do before shipping in my computer for ''repairs''. Unfortunately, mine fell outside the recall numbers, even though I know it is a lemon. It's between a Lenovo and Mac right now. Mac might be easier because I have places to get it repaired right near me, though Lenovo I'd have to ship it off.

    It sounds dirty because of how obnoxious fanboys on either side can be. Since I have over $1,000 worth of software for Windows, why should they care if I decide to not rebuy the software and use it in OS X.

    @rusty: I'd probably end up getting a MBP, but if they were offering the Macbook, I might go that route. Hell, MicroCenter has had $200 rebates on the new ones recently, so why couldn't Apple too. Of course, I would buy their service warranty. It's just dumb to buy anything Apple without AppleCare #appleblackfriday

    Maybe I'm naive, but isn't that a good thing? It always seemed to me that if you wanted to use unauthorized APIs just make a jailbreak app. Othewise if you want to be in the App Store, stick to the rules (which are admittedly draconian at times, but this not being one of them). #appstore

    @TheSonOfKrypton: Agreed, having the google navigation app now(since we worked so hard on xda-developers to get it to work on the G1), all others look like trash. Even those that cost upwards of $100 pale in comparison. #magellanroadmate
